Myeongrang Haenyeo Homestay is a private rural stay located in a quiet village in Namwon-eup, Seogwipo.
Guests can enjoy peaceful countryside scenery, complimentary breakfast, and warm stories from a haenyeo and haenam couple who live with the sea.

Location & Surroundings


Our homestay is located in a quiet mid-mountain village in southern Jeju, about 3–4 kilometers from the sea and a 5-minute drive by car.
Nearby is Gongcheonpo Black Sand Beach, a small and peaceful coastline known mostly to locals.
The location is also convenient for exploring Hallasan Mountain, nearby oreum, and both the eastern and western routes of Seogwip.


Wake up to birdsong, slow mornings, and the peaceful rhythm of Jeju countryside life.

A complimentary breakfast is served daily at 8:30 a.m. for registered guests.
The menu changes by day and may include Korean, Western, or fusion dishes prepared with care.

Meet Our Friendly Dogs, Sora & Mehong


Sora, a golden retriever, and Mehong, a Jeju native dog, are part of the Myeongrang Haenyeo Homestay family.
Guests who love animals may enjoy spending time with them in the yard.


Please let us know in advance if you have allergies, young children, or concerns about dogs.

his is a quiet rural farmhouse accommodation.
Safety facilities for infants are limited, so parents are asked to closely supervise children under the age of 8.
As this is a countryside stay, guests may experience natural sounds, insects, and the slower rhythm of rural Jeju life.
